Plot
The story of three young girls trying to stick together when they are trapped in a sea cave filled with waves, hundreds of sea lions and ferocious elephant seals. First of all, I have to give credit to the director, screenwriter and actors.
My whole family loved the movie
About 20 minutes into the film I said – it feels like this movie was written, directed and filmed by these 3 girls – Turns out I was almost 100% right. My two youngest children, 5 and 7, found it intense at times and were so drawn into the characters’ lives that they were rightly concerned for the girls’ safety.
This film would have been so difficult to make
Working with young actors on the water and in the wild would have been so difficult. The film, despite being a little cheesy at times, was still well made.
Thank you for making something the whole family could sit and watch
Kudos to the actors and the Schmidt family, we are in full support. Hopefully the making of this film didn’t break them or make them not want to go back because I’m sure it will be a labor of love in the end.
