A decade after their clash at the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, middle-aged Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence found themselves once again as martial arts rivals. During the filming of the original film “The Karate Guy”, the late director John J. The team working on “Cobra Kai” searched the studio and found a lot of previously unpublished clips, which they managed to introduce into the series by means of flashbacks. He successfully returns the previous “feeling”. films, while adding a new and complex story. It truly embodies the legacy of the rivalry and at the same time revives the spirit of the films to a degree never seen before. Can’t wait to see what they do in season 2.
