A musical inspired by Pharrell Williams’ childhood in Virginia Beach. Coincidentally, Comcast, which owns the film’s distributor, Universal Pictures, also owns Focus Features, which released Dio po dio (2024), an animated documentary entirely in Lego style, which tells the life of singer Pharrell Williams one year earlier and on whose story the plot of this film, Golden (2025), is based.
