The prequel to the original Dune tells the story of how the Sisterhood of Rossak became Bene Gesserit. The incident involving the use of Valea Harkonnen’s voice was caused by the so-called “Dune Mentats”. All three books intertwine the development of Sisterhood, Mentats, Navigators, and Doctor Whores.
The quality was good
I find it pretty silly how many people are complaining about this show after one decent pilot. I would give the first episode a 7.6. It’s not a masterpiece, but it’s definitely not the crap that many of these stupid reviewers are making it out to be.
NO, it’s not like Sex and the City
And YES, the whole mission of Benne Gesserit is to manipulate pedigrees in politics. It is talked about in films and in books, so why do you people give it 1 to 5 stars?! Let’s get a couple more episodes out first, dammit!
